Dr. Orel M. Everett MD

Orel Michael Everett, M.D., graduated from the The United Stated Military Academy at West Point, where he made the Dean’s List 1983-1986; he graduated with a degree in Psychology in 1986. After a distinguished career in the United States Army, he attended and graduated with a Degree in Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1995. He did his internship and residency at the Corpus Christi Family Practice Residency Program in Corpus Christi, Texas, which he completed in 1998. Dr. Everett joined Thomas-Spann Clinic in 2008.
Dr. Everett specializes and is board certified in Family Medicine. He is a recipient of the The Army Service Ribbon and The Army Commendation Medal. He received the Victor C. Calma Award for Best Intern Resident in 1995. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association; The American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Directors Association.
Dr. Everett has served as Chairman of Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee; and has served as Chairman of Family Practice both at Corpus Christi Medical Center; and as Chief of Staff of Corpus Christi Medical Center in 2010.
