Dr. John Staniland, MD

Dr. Staniland was trained as a mechanical engineer, and he worked for Messerschmitt designing helicopters. He brings this meticulous approach to his family practice, helping patients fine-tune the well-oiled machine that is their bodies.
He went to medical school at the University of Calgary in 1991, completing a residency in Family Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1993. Dr. Staniland worked as a travelling doctor for the Alberta Medical Association, relieving doctors in rural locations who couldn’t find anyone willing to give them some time off.
He moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1996 and have had a Family Medicine Clinic ever since. He is a member of the Texas Health Care PLLC, as well as the Team Doctor for the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Staniland is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and an Integrative Cancer Therapies Fellow. He was also trained by the Institute for Functional Medicine and Dr. Edward Kondrot in the Kondrot Program for retinal diseases.
