Dr. James Paul, MD

PAUL J. JAMES, M.D., F.A.C.S., received his undergraduate degree from Texas Southern University, and later attended Meharry Medical College of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee where he received his Doctorate of Medicine. He then completed his General Surgery Residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Paul J. James is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of numerous professional organizations such as American Medical Association, Texas Medical Foundation, and Houston Medical Forum.
Dr. Paul J. James has received various awards and honors including graduating Cum Laude from Texas Southern University, where from 1977-1980 he achieved the Dean’s List.
He also went on to be recognized in the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities, received the Senior Medical Class Outstanding Leadership Award, General Surgery Resident of the Year, and General Surgery Residency Faculty of the Year just to name a few.
