Profile
I grew up in Moline, Illinois, and went to Monmouth College. I worked as an environmental biologist for 2 years with Corp of Engineers, and went back to graduate school for six months. I then decided to go to Medical school.
I was accepted at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1976, where I attended four years. I did my internship at Davenport Osteopathic Hospital in Davenport, Iowa.
With my experience in environmental biology, it was quite natural to get into Alternative Medicine, Integrated Medicine, and Nutrition, which I took many advanced courses and seminars.
I was certified in Chelation in 1986, although I started doing it in 1981. I took written and oral boards to become Certified in Clinical Heavy Metal Toxicology, Chelation Therapy, and practiced Bio-Ocidative Medicine, including Photoluminescence and Hydrogen Peroxide treatments and Nutritional IVs for chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia.
I’ve been doing Bio-Identical Hormones for 20 years, using phytoestrogen and phytoprogesterone back in 1988 and 1989. I used natural hormone replacement with estrogen and progresterone creams during the 90’s. They then became bio-identical hormones after the year 2000. We have had much success over the years using alternative or combining standard practices with alternative practices to help people feel their best. -
