  • Profile

A life-long resident of Northwest Indiana, Renee’ is a magna cum laude graduate of Valparaiso University College of Nursing.  Most of her nursing career was spent in long-term care, where she became certified by the American Nurses’ Association as a geriatric nurse.  She served as Associate Director of Nursing for St. Anthony Home in Crown Point from 1987-1990, during which time she helped establish two Alzheimer’s Care units.  She developed the Interactive Model of Dementia Care and has given presentations throughout Indiana for healthcare staff and family members trying to cope with this devastating illness.
In 1990, Renee’ established Inservicer’s, Ltd., later known as Horizon Career College.  She recognized the need for quality education for staff in all facets of healthcare to improve care delivery for all patients.  Within six years, Horizon Career College had achieved national accreditation through the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and had campuses in both Merrillville and Indianapolis.
In 1996, Renee’ began consulting work with ABHES, visiting healthcare colleges throughout the country and evaluating them for continued accreditation.  Eight years later she began teaching seminars to help schools progress through the accreditation process and also to help train other evaluators.  In 2009, ABHES recognized her for her years of distinguished service.
In 2003, Renee’ also authored a non-fiction book entitled, “No Words.”  The story details the lives of a couple dealing with the deaths of their two children, five years apart.
Renee’ has held other nursing positions as well, and slowly began to recognize the “holes” in traditional medicine.  She felt there were too many instances in which Western medicine fell short of helping people maintain and regain health and well-being.  She began exploring alternative health practices, and eventually discovered NAET.  She made the decision to dedicate her future practice to helping people eliminate their allergies, which many times were responsible for causing chronic conditions and disrupting their health and lifestyles. The next years were devoted to education, becoming certified by Dr. Nambudripad as a NAET practitioner at both basic and advanced levels.
Renee’ has since become a Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) and a Master Reiki.  She developed skills in iridology, reflexology, dried blood cell analysis, computerized biofeedback screening, and has become a Certified Rossiter Coach. She achieved her Doctorate in Naturopathy in 2010 from Kingdom College of Natural Health and became Board Certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
Renee’ fervently believes that alternative health practices should complement rather than compete with traditional medical practices.  She emphasizes that nothing she practices interferes with Western medical techniques and that clients should have the right to choose treatment modalities that are most helpful to them as individuals.
Renee’ and her husband Ron have two children and seven grandchildren and reside in Wheatfield.  Together they have owned several successful businesses in Northwest Indiana and are dedicated to their local community.
Renee’ believes her current practice has given her the most fulfilling experiences in her varied career.  She explains, “I see little miracles every day, and I can’t wait to see what the next day will bring.  I am thrilled to share these opportunities with my clients and help them lead more comfortable lives.”
