As a specialist in Family Medicine, Dr. Mark Rawson is trained to understand, diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions, at all stages of life. Dr. Rawson embraces and expands upon the philosophy of Family Medicine, a specialty that emphasized the wellness of the whole person, and focuses on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Dr. Rawson received his MD at the University of Iowa, College of Medicine, and completed residency-training at the University of Minnesota. His early practice was in inner-city St. Paul and Minneapolis, working with underserved populations, where he became all too familiar with advanced chronic illness, as a result of lifestyle challenges and limited access to medical care. For many years, Dr. Rawson also practiced Emergency Medicine in outstate Minnesota. In the ER he routinely witnessed the end-stages of preventable chronic diseases–which started him on the journey to find better ways of helping his patients become well and live long, productive, energetic lives.
Dr. Rawson established Lifespan Center for Integrative Medicine, in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and brings innovative, natural therapies with proven efficacy, so that his patients can re-establish and maintain health and balance in their bodies and their lives.
