Dr. Jennifer Tuttle ND

While Dr. Jennifer Tuttle’s love for medicine began at an early age, it wasn’t until college that she was introduced to naturopathic medicine. As a collegiate athlete at the University of Portland, Dr. Tuttle experienced the frustration and setback of an injury that kept her sidelined. When she didn’t heal and respond to conventional allopathic treatment Dr. Tuttle pushed for more answers, believing the source of her injury was not being addressed. Through pursuing naturopathic medicine for her own health, it was obvious that the naturopathic philosophy, ideals, and approach to health resonated well with her.
After receiving a bachelors of science in biology, Dr. Tuttle continued her education at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon where she graduated with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a certificate in Natural Childbirth. In 2010 she participated in a volunteer medical brigade with Natural Doctors International on the island of Omatepe, Nicaragua.  Inspired by the community, Dr. Tuttle helped contribute to the donation of uniforms and equipment to a local women’s soccer team on the island.
While Dr. Tuttle’s greatest joy remains helping her patients reach their health goals, she also continues to love all things soccer. When she’s not playing or watching the game with her husband, she can be found coaching at the youth level. Giving back to the community and watching young players develop a passion for the game is one of the most rewarding experiences. She also enjoys exploring the outdoors with their cunning Coonhound and expanding her succulent garden.
